Hires Director of Sales and Marketing
Greg
Swarts to Open Homeland Defense Market
Amherst, NY--June
13, 2002 -- Microlanguage (www.microlanguage.com), whose next generation
concept extraction engine powers knowledge management and portal
information services, today announced the appointment of Greg Swarts
to the position of Director of Marketing and Sales.
Microlanguage's
software enables OEMs and systems integrators to deliver stronger
knowledge management and concept extraction tools, and portal providers
to deliver stronger information services, to Global 2000 enterprise
customers and government agencies.
Microlanguage's
CEO Robert Fritzinger said "Greg's experience in government
and Fortune 50 enterprise sectors, and with systems integrators,
will allow Microlanguage to immediately enter very key customer
relationships at very high levels. His customer and market knowledge
is critical to propelling Microlanguage into the homeland security
market, as well as commercial markets for our products, and services."
Mr. Swarts will be responsible for sales planning, sales management
and market development, and will report directly to Robert Fritzinger.
"Greg brings
keen insights into how Microlanguage's technology can help the U.S.
fight the war on terrorism through homeland security initiatives,"
added Fritzinger.
Mr. Swarts brings
20 years of hands-on, pro-active, entrepreneurial leadership in
developing and managing vertical technology segments, including
education, energy, emergency response, and telecommunications. He
has held senior management positions with SAIC, Atlantic Richfield,
and the State of Washington. Most recently, Greg was Vice President
of Sales and Marketing for a startup telecommunications company
specializing in multimedia and convergent technologies.
Mr. Swarts will
occupy Microlanguage's Sales Office in Wayne, Pennsylvania, located

Microlanguage
also announced today that its new website is now online. The site
features an entirely new look, the centerpiece of which is Microlanguage's
new logo. Functioning in concert with the Company's name, the new
logo creates a visual metaphor. The website also features expanded
information sets on the Company's patent-pending Thematix
intelligent language processing technology, a career
opportunity area with several new job postings, new product
and customer support channels,
and a download area where two new white
papers are now available.
