Microlanguage is Finalist in SmartStart Venture Forum
Western NY Software Firm is Among The Elite 30 Selected From 71 Applicants
Amherst, NY--September
20, 2002 -- Microlanguage (microlanguage.com), whose intelligent
language processing technology enriches knowledge management and
information extraction applications, announced today that they have
been selected by the Empire State Venture Group, Inc. (ESVG) to
be a finalist in the SmartStart Venture ForumSM, a two day event
to be held at the Albany Marriott on October 2 - 3, 2002.
The SmartStart
Venture Forum, which is presented by the Empire State Venture Group,
Inc., is a collaboration between the Science and Technology Law
Center® at Albany Law School and other organizations in the
private and public sectors to present an annual venture forum for
innovative technology companies from across the Northeast. Companies
of extraordinary quality and prospects from across the state and
from other areas, a total of 71 in all, were recruited to present
their business plans and seek funding from investors.
